US+ Unbound Gallery and Bulb&Arrow is pleased to announce the opening reception for Artist in Residence, Henry Burgos, for his Solo Exhibition titled “Hastily Drawn Approximations.” Burgos, a multifaceted artist, produces a wide range of work - paintings, drawings, sculptures to videos, whose narratives address daily interaction and relationships – people he comes across, nature/animals, urban architecture/landscape and how he navigates through this all. The title, chosen by Henry, references an excerpt from the book “The Brain: The Story of You” by author David Eagle. On April 27th a team of creatives curated and executed a fun and bubbly art experience that attracted all ages and genres. Local creators across the spectrum were hosted and provided with a space to express and exhibit their artistry. These individuals were not incarcerated to a theme or topic; however, it was organized as a group show. Audience engagement was harnessed by a collective art project that featured a StilltheOne-Two barrel and other various interactive sections throughout the venue. The environment that was magically created welcomed all flavors and vibes.
